Eureka Forklifts

Adding Value to Your Forklift

Buying a forklift carries a lot of responsibility. This vehicle will be subject to frequent use, lots of pressure and lots of strain. The cost to a business of having a non-functional or damaged forklift can far outweigh the costs of regular servicing. The best way to keep costs down is to make sure that the forklift is purchased in the best condition possible.

Every forklift that comes through our workshop is subject to a thorough health check, worth $390.00 excl. GST. We also remove the front wheels, brake hubs, inspect the brakes and, in most cases, fit replacements for an array of parts.

A full brake inspection and re-assembly, including a cleaning up of shoes, safe removal of brake dust and other maintenance tasks can take anywhere between 6-8 hours, and that doesn’t include the replacement of any parts. The value of a full brake rebuild through Eureka Forklifts is $1,200 to $1,500 excl. GST through our workshop and is carried out with every forklift as standard.

If you consider the thorough work carried out during a break inspection and service, purchasing a forklift from Eureka Forklifts can save you $1,500 in the near future, and help prevent down time and costly industrial accidents.

When looking for a used forklift, always consider what you are buying. The cheapest options don’t stay the cheapest in the long term. With every forklift, we invest almost $2,000 to make sure that your machines will run smoothly for as long as possible and become a dependable part of your business.
